Probably my shortest days cycle so far. A head wind didn’t make it any quicker. Cheviot is a delightful place with an extremely high cafe saturation. Frosty in the morning!

After a rest day in Christchurch I rolled on up the coast to Waipara. I always feel slow to get going after a rest day. I called past Rangiora to visit my cousin(in-law) for lunch before enjoying the great company of @benkepes and the boys for a night

Today was Bluff (right from the start of SH 1) to Gore. Whew 96.8km all up. I felt like stopping right about the 60km mark. Pushed through it and what do you know. Bloody hell I am stoked.
